Color Study - Pig Boy

Two variations on a color study. The first has colors picked from reference photos of the various subjects (pigs, jeans, etcetera). The second is color by intuition.

Observations:

The second image is more dynamic than the first

In the second image, the shade color is the native color + the environment/lighting color, and the highlight color is the environment/lighting color de-saturated.

In the second image, the foreground figure and background don't mix well enough.

In the second image the hat color is not right. the color and value choice cause too much contrast.
